We all know it is hard to bring God up in conversation. It is our hope that these simple questions will help you bring God into conversations and share a simple truth from scripture with your friends and family.

Talk: What is a good enough grade on a test? How accurate do you need to be at your job? What happens if you don’t get it 100% correct? How much of your life do you think God wants? Can I share with you about the freedom when you surrender to God?
Text: because your heart was penitent, and you humbled yourself before the Lord, when you heard how I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and you have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. Therefore, behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the disaster that I will bring upon this place.’” And they brought back word to the king. 2 Kings 22:19-20
Truth: God desires that we turn our whole lives toward His kingdom

Talk: Who’s your closest friend? Why are they your closest friend? What do you expect out of the relationship? What does your relationship with God look like? What does God desire in your relationship Him?
Text: Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. James 4:10
Truth: A true relationship with God includes humility, drawing near to Him and following His will.

Truth: Genuine prayer is powerful!

Talk: If someone offered to give you whatever you heart desired what would you ask them to give you and why? Who would benefit from that request? Would this request bring fulfillment? I received something that brought complete fulfillment, can I tell you about Jesus?
Text: And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 1 Kings 3:11
Truth: Desiring the things of God bring benefit for this life and the one to come.

Text: Omri did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did more evil than all who were before him. For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in the sins that he made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord, the God of Israel, to anger by their idols.
