After more than two decades in the mental health profession, trained in its theories, therapeutic models, and evolving approaches to human suffering, I began asking some difficult questions. What happens when the foundational assumptions of modern psychology collide with the truths of Scripture? Have we, as Christians, unknowingly adopted a framework for understanding ourselves, our suffering, and our healing that is fundamentally at odds with our faith?
This workshop explores my growing concerns with the mental health industry, the theological implications of its influence within the Church, and why I believe a line in the sand really is necessary. Not a rejection of compassion, science, or the reality of suffering, but a return to biblical discernment and the sufficiency of God’s Word.
