Rachel Valentine
Breakout: A Line in the Sand Really is Necessary
Rachel Valentine is a licensed mental health counselor and owner of All Things New Therapy Services. With over 23 years of experience in the mental health profession, Rachel has spent much of her career walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through the complexities of human suffering.

After years of training and practicing within traditional therapeutic frameworks, Rachel experienced a significant shift in her understanding of counseling, ultimately leading her to embrace a distinctly biblical, Christ-centered approach to her work. Rachel is passionate about encouraging Christians to think critically and biblically about the ideas shaping modern mental health culture, particularly where those ideas intersect with faith, identity, suffering, and the sufficiency of Scripture.

On a personal note, Rachel has been married for 26 years to her talented husband, who owns Valentine Construction and has the gift of carpentry. Together, they have two sons, ages 20 and 15. Rachel is thoroughly enjoying watching her sons grow into young men, encouraging them as they discover their own paths, while she continues to discover what it means to be a mom to increasingly independent young men. Above all, she loves Jesus, His Word, and the beautiful, sometimes messy, everyday opportunities to grow in faith.
