Unforced Rhythms of Grace
Sam Ashmore
Breakout: Unforced Rhythms of Grace
Sam is originally from Arlington, Texas, but has been in Sioux Center for 9 of the past 13 years. He is even becoming more Iowan than Texan as he enjoys so much about living in Sioux Center– knowing many people, walking most places (NEVER in winter though), and the slowness and contentment Sioux Center can bring.

Sam serves as Campus Pastor at Dordt where he preaches in chapel, shepherds students, and oversees Dordt’s mission initiatives. Also, Sam serves as Co-Pastor at Bridge of Hope alongside his wife, Gail. It is his dream! Sam has his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, and an undergrad in Theology with an emphasis in Biblical Studies and Missions/Evangelism from Dordt University (formerly Dordt College).

Personally, Sam’s wife, Gail, and him have two sons, Zion (6) and Judah (4). They are full of life and the most fun hang you will ever have! Sam is a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan, and any other Dallas area sports team. He enjoys good coffee, earning credit card points, bouncing his sons WAY to high on the trampoline, and any place that has mountains or a beach (preferably both).
Biblical Sexuality
Brady Cone
Breakout: Biblical Sexuality Track
Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, Brady knew from a young age that he was different from the rest of the boys. Years later after wrestling with same-sex attraction, he accepted his identity as an LGBTQ man. But an encounter with Jesus changed everything! Including his sexuality. He now has a passion to equip Christians to navigate sexuality issues with both clarity and compassion. He holds a Master of Arts degree from Shepherds Theological Seminary, is the Executive Director of Calibrate Ministries and the host of The Great Exchange Podcast.  Brady currently lives in Enumclaw, WA with his wife Mary and their daughter Rowan and son Ramsey.

Breakout: The Lost Practice of Abiding in Christ
Adam Evans is currently the youth pastor at The Mission Church in Urbandale, IA. He and his wife, Katie, have been married for 12 years, and have two sons – Jonathan(7), and Isaac (2). For the past 12 years in ministry, with 6 of those being at The Mission Church, Adam has focused on helping students experience what it means to truly follow Jesus. Whether it’s through discipleship, teaching, preaching, or through his online teaching under the moniker The Bearded Pastor, Adam desires nothing more than to introduce people to a living God and equip them to live a Christ-centered life. Adam enjoys fishing with his boys, going to concerts with his wife, and watching football every fall. Go Pack Go! He’d love to meet you, encourage you, and hear how God is working in your life.

Meet Jesus on the Mountain
Jeanette Van Genderen
Breakout: Meet Jesus on the mountain
Jeanette grew up in Northwest Indiana, went to Northwestern College where she now works and has now been married to her favorite preacher, Jeremy for 21 years. Their 3 children are just like Mary Poppins “practically perfect in every way”. Bree is a junior at NWC studying to be a Pediatric Speech Pathologist, Kara a freshman at NWC studying to be a Nurse and Ben is a junior at Unity High School. Jeanette enjoys going to cross country meets, speech competitions, choir concerts and hearing the NWC athletic band play. She forces Jeremy to go on long, unromantic walks around the city of Maurice, nightly. The truth is Jeanette has no credentials, no fancy degree, nothing to impress you with. But by the grace of God, who gifted her at speaking, she has the Holy Spirit leading her as she shares scriptural insight today.
